Just wanted to share our gratitude to be gracing the pages of Interior Design for the 3rd time in 3 years on yet another collaboration with Ghislaine Viñas Interiors. The first and last pages of the article depicted below:
In addition to these precision master bedroom stripes we steamrolled this deer painting with, we painted the entire apartment including the snazzy stripe embellishment in the looooong hallway that lines up with a custom runner, turning the front door into a chalkboard, and hanging the kitchen and entry wallpapers...
This site is a good idea as a means of compiling contractors for consumer review, BUT we've never found it necessary to pay for the privilege of merely submitting a quote to a prospective client. We already provide free estimates and people usually inquire directly. If Thumbtack could come up with a way to simply take a commission-- like a referral fee, for jobs that were actually awarded via their website, then we'd be talking about a valuable offer of interest!
This effect was created by carefully shaping and scraping out the center oval to reveal what was existing. We then sealed that surface with General Finishes before working our paint wizardry over some very tricky plaster crown moldings. Hello out there. Sope and I have been doing a bunch of good old fashioned painting with the crew over at Marlow & Sons/Diner this year. We are proud to have just donated to a great new project they're working on that we feel really good about getting behind. Check out this link, the sweet video & please consider being a part of it before time runs out. Every little bit helps!
We are so thrilled to have worked on such an amazing project with one of our favorite designers! The gorgeous Warren Street Townhouse, featured yet again, this time in Benjamin Moore's online mag for architects and designers...
Wow. We know it's been quite some time since our last post. We've been busy building snowmen, well mostly digging out Sassy (our van), and keeping cool checking out what's in the meat locker at Marlow and Daughters (we just did an all nighter there).
Check it out. One of our favorite designers has just been featured on Apartment Therapy's New York City Apartments.
We love seeing what Carly does with the space once we've finished painting the walls and hanging the wallpaper! See for yourself and tell us what you think.
Check it out, ever wondered what the view looks like perched atop a scaffold or on a ladder looking down on a gnarly staircase? How about what the view might be like from other people's home? Well look no further! Click on the image and wonder no more.
We'll be updating these albums often so come back soon.
